Arts

What Is It?

The Arts Department provides a weekly guide to everything Arts; from Theatre to Dance, Comedy to Visual Arts and Films to Opera including events both on and off campus. We feel it our job to keep the hugely creative student body at Warwick in tune with the arts and culture in the surrounding area. So listen in to Artsing Around every weekend on saturday at 5 o'clock.

Get Involved

You can get involved with the Arts Shows in a number of different ways:

The Arts Show is made up of a small team of specialists, each reviewing something in their different genres each week. However, if you've read a book, seen a play, film or dance show that you are desperate to tell everybody about, by all means, come on and do a review! Just email us at least a week before the show you wish to appear on with what it is and why you liked/disliked it so much.

If your society has a performance event, an installation or anything else arts-related that you would like one of our team to review, then please get in touch.

We can also do larger features on your performance, including interviews with cast in rehearsals and audience members pre and post show, for example. All you need to do is provide us with some information about it and a press ticket at least a week before so that we have someone available.

We're also enthusiastic about doing more general features on the arts societies at Warwick. We're interested in their history, difficulties and successes, as well as how they shaped their member's overall experiences at University. If you'd like to have your society featured on a certain week, then email us and we'll try our best to fit you in for that time!

All we ask in return is that you email the link of the show out to the society members, if only so they can listen back to the coverage of their event!

For general enquries, email .
